About Sydenham Community Centre
At the Heart of Our Community
Sydenham Community Centre has been serving the local community for many years, providing a welcoming and inclusive space where people can meet, learn, socialise and celebrate.
Located on Parkway in Bridgwater, the centre has become a valued community hub, bringing together residents of all ages through a wide range of activities, events, clubs and community services.
The centre is managed by the Sydenham Community Association, a charitable organisation dedicated to maintaining and developing the facilities for the benefit of the local community. Through the commitment of volunteers, trustees, staff and local organisations, the centre continues to play an important role in community life.

Our facilities are used by a variety of clubs, groups and organisations, offering activities and opportunities for people with many different interests.
Over the years, the centre has hosted community events, social gatherings, sports activities, meetings, training sessions, celebrations and support groups, helping to create lasting connections within the local area. Activities associated with the centre have included lunch clubs, bowls, table tennis, craft groups, camera clubs, boxing, karate and many other community-led initiatives.
